Erin Moore holds a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from the University of Alberta, a Music Diploma in Voice from Red Deer College and a Specialist Certificate in Vocal Styles from Berklee College of Music Online.
She has been a member and soloist with the Central Alberta Homeschool Choir, the Ihana Youth Choir, the University of Alberta Madrigal Singers, and the Bow Valley Chorus. Past operatic roles include Gianetta in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore (UAlberta Opera Theatre) and the Moon in the Canadian premier of Jonathan Dove’s The Enchanted Pig (UAlberta Opera Theatre). A regular member of the Calgary Opera Chorus, Erin has appeared in Calgary Opera’s productions of Bizet’s Carmen, Mason Bates’ The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs, Verdi’s Macbeth, and Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro.
Upcoming engagements include singing with the Calgary Opera Chorus in Calgary Opera’s production of Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore, performing as a soloist in Calgary Opera's Arias and Ales, joining the chorus of the Firebird Symphony & Chorus for Mozart’s Requiem and the Bow Valley Chorus for Faure's Requiem and Cantique de Jean Racine as well as covering the role of Anna in Verdi's Nebucco with Calgary Concert Opera.
Erin has also released a solo album of hymns and spirituals entitled, Wayfaring Stranger which is available on all streaming services.
When she’s not onstage, Erin enjoys teaching voice and piano lessons, reading, cooking, and spending time with her husband.
